Settlement Services

Settling in a new country can be a very challenging process.  Newcomers need to adjust to life in Canada by finding a place to live, finding a job, learning the language, and learning their way in a new culture and society.

Funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), the YWCA St. Thomas Elgin offers, free of charge, information and assistance with permanent residence, citizenship, sponsorship, work and visitor permits, various government programs and community resources.

We also offer information on the local community and Canadian customs and traditions.

Drop in to see us anytime from
Monday – Thursday: 9am – 4pm
Friday: By Appointment Only

We care about your integration to Canada. Trust us with your settlement needs.
