Nationally more than one million women & their families benefit from the YWCA’s programs & services every year.
YWCA St. Thomas-Elgin offers programming in three main areas:
Adult Education & Settlement Services:
This includes programming for Adults and New Canadians looking to enhance and upgrade their literacy skills required for employment and/or further education.
Community Programming:
This includes youth leadership, youth employment training, childcare programs and recreational & aquatic activities.
Housing Programs:
Emergency, short term and transitional housing is offered through our Women’s Residence, Transitional housing, life skills and life coaching are also provided at our youth residences: Fair Winds and Harmony House.
